Well,this is going to be a short post about a general info of what Boiler plates means in the computing context.Recently I came across this term for the first time as I read this paper "SHOULD CODE BE LAW? SMART CONTRACTS, BLOCKCHAIN, AND BOILERPLATE" by Jeff Lingwall and Ramya Mogallapu. Then further exploring about this term simply refers to sections of code that have to be included in many places with
little or no alteration. It is often used when referring to languages
that are considered verbose, i.e. the programmer must write a lot of
code to do minimal jobs.
More simply : Any routine contract document would invariably be similar for most of its part except for the names and date changes.This similar part is the Boilerplate meaning it’s
the same for everyone who gets that contract, with only a few changes.
